I was listening to all these realtors on cable who wanted to buy your home for money and you didn’t need to clean it, repair anything, or pay any fees. I was sure there was a catch, however I had to call. I had been trying to sell my home for 2 years, and no 1 was buying. I called the realtor who had placed the ad and asked him questions, then she said they paid top dollar for any house, and they would fix the home up and sell it. That was where they made their profit. The realtor I was working with had given my home a value I thought was high, and she had lowered it numerous times. I thought my home was perfect, but apparently the realtor didn’t, and after 2 years, I thought they have sold my house. I called the realtor and asked if she could sell my home for money? She said she would not get paid enough if she did that, and I told her I wanted to cancel our contract. As soon as I had the cancelled contract, I called the realtor, who was offering to buy my house. She came in and looked at my home and started asking a lot of questions about the house, and by the time she was done, she made an offer that was giant ly less that what the realtor estimated, but more than what she was getting ready to drop the price to. I accepted the realtor’s offer and planned to move in with my daughter, she had built an in-law suite for me, and most of my furniture would fit, what would not fit in my home was going to be donated to charity.
